Fandom: Sherlock Holmes (movieverse)
Word Count: 10,303
Copyright: Title is from Tides by Hugo Williams.
Summary: Set pre-movie. Watson has had to take a brutal course in being honest with himself so nothing Holmes says will ever be a surprise.
Author’s Notes: There are no words for how gay this movie is; my mum has spent hours listing how gay it is at me and she normally shakes her head and tuts at my slash goggles. Anyway, I’ve read some of the books but this is based pretty much on the film canon and my own imagination. Also, the terribly pretty guys are clearly at it like rabbits. RABBITS IN FROCK COATS. Mostly written after midnight, so full of pretentious navel-gazing run-on sentences and potentially crap. And an impressive amount of nothing at all happens in this story, given that it’s so long I’ve had to break it into
ALSO, I am totally sitting on a train right now. I've never posted slash while on a moving vehicle before ;) The snow outside is utterly epic...
